The team from Henan Xinshangchou Import and Export Trading Co., Ltd. visited Albania for in-depth discussions with local operators and municipal clients. Albania has been actively promoting green transportation in recent years. The clients sought to introduce cost-effective pure electric vehicle models for urban commuting, tourist shuttle services, and short-distance logistics. Ultimately, a cooperation agreement was reached for the initial procurement of multiple BYD pure electric models.
Environmental Adaptation:
Albania’s terrain is dominated by mountains and hills, with significant elevation changes between the coast and inland areas. BYD’s pure electric models feature Blade Battery and smart thermal management systems, enabling efficient energy regeneration on long downhill sections. The high torque output handles continuous uphill climbs with ease. In humid coastal areas, the vehicles maintain IP67 dust/water resistance. Local charging stations are mainly located in the capital and tourist cities; BYD’s standard fast charging can go from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes, compatible with existing infrastructure and eliminating range anxiety.
The first batch of vehicles has been put into operation, accumulating over 80,000 kilometers over three months with zero breakdowns. The client highly recognizes the accuracy of the range and has initiated a second procurement plan. Xinshangchou provides remote data monitoring and support from a European parts warehouse to reduce the client’s after-sales costs.
